SEEDS cuts ribbon on new professional clinic

SEEDS Women’s Center, once housed in a small 1,400-square-foot blue house on Broadway Street, has now more than doubled in size at their new location at 308 Pine Street.

The center held a ribbon cutting Wednesday to officially open their 3000- square-foot professional clinic that now includes medical offices, a baby boutique and the Learning Center.

Executive Director of SEEDS Amber Bradford was pleased with the turnout and enjoyed hosting the Greater Minden Chamber, local business leaders and representatives, having them tour the premises.

“Tours of our new facility were given, and thoughtful recognition was given to our community, staff, and volunteers,” said Bradford. “Cake and punch were served in SEEDS’ new Learning Center, where parenting and dad classes will be held.”

Bradford discussed the importance of supporting the center by providing donations and the need for volunteers. She also how she, as a past client at a pregnancy center, thrived and grew as a leader knowing the staff and volunteers supported her and prayed for her journey as a new mom.

SEEDS Women’s Center will be hosting a new fundraiser – SEEDS Totally 80’s Bingo and Silent Auction coming up on May 30 at the Minden Civic Center. An 80’s costume contest, great prizes, delicious New York style pizza, and a whole lot of fun will be had.

It will be $25 per person for 10 bingo games. Sponsorships are available and everyone is welcome. Attendees can pay at the door or pay ahead via Venmo to @Seedstotally80sbingo or email Amber at A.Bradford@nwlpcc.org .
