Doyline officer finds narcotics during traffic stop

A vehicle missing an inspection sticker has landed a Shreveport couple in parish lockups after a Doyline police officer found narcotics in a further inspection during the traffic stop.

Reports show 28-year-old Tatyana L. Morris and 32-year-old Storm Lewis are now being held on numerous drug charges after their vehicle was stopped just after 9 p.m. last week at the intersection of LA Hwys. 163 and 164.

Both are charged with  possession CDS Sch. I (marijuana), possession CDS Sch. II (methamphetamines), possession CDS in presence of minor under 17, contributing to the endangerment of a minor, possession of Legend drug, violation of open container law. Bond for each is reportedly set at $5,000.

While searching the vehicle, Doyline officer Shawn Woody reportedly found Sch. I, Sch. II, a pipe used in smoking narcotics and a bottle of pain pills with a third party’s name.

Woody reportedly also found a small child in the rear seat without a car seat or seat belt.
