Murray Hord (67-year-old white male) and Eric Hammett (51-year-old white male) are wanted for theft from a local hardware store.
Hammett and Hord allegedly went to the store to purchase some items. Hammett decided to remove a high dollar flashlight from its packaging and hid the item in what he thought was a secret area of the store.
Hammett seemed so excited about his alleged theft that he got his friend, Hord, who was in a different part of the store. The two returned to the flashlight’s location where they retrieved the item.
Hammett allegedly showed Hord the flashlight before placing it in his pocket. Hammett and Hord both left the store without paying for the flashlight. The in-store surveillance system provided a 4k video of the alleged theft.
Hammett is wanted for theft and Hord is wanted for principal to theft.
