For the 2025 season, Springhill’s downtown area has once again gained recognition. Springhill is among 22 communities in Louisiana to win an honor, set up by Louisiana Main Street in partnership with the National Main Street Center.
This Main Street America Program recognition represents the highest levels of visibility a city can achieve. It is also a reflection on Springhill’s strong track record in development and the life it has sought to bring back into the old downtown area.
“We are honored that Springhill Main Street has once again earned accreditation from Main Street America,” said Main Street Director, Amie Poladian. “This recognition reflects the hard work, collaboration, and dedication of our volunteers, city leaders, business owners, and community members who believe in the future of our downtown. Accreditation not only validates the progress we’ve made, but also opens doors to resources that will help us continue building a vibrant, thriving Springhill for generations to come.”
Through this accreditation, Springhill Main Street retains its place within a national campaign striving to preserve historic character while promoting economic growth in cities and small towns throughout America.
