Anna Claire Lemoine of Minden/Baton Rouge is B-U-S-Y this summer.

First off, the daughter of Brian and Lela Lemoine has been elected to the New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe. The announcement of the 32 athletes who won spots on the team was made after rigorous auditions that took place in the Super Dome.

Anna Claire will spend the upcoming NFL season cheering the Saints at each home football game, as well as making meet-and-greet appearances, autograph signing, photo opportunities, and event performances. In the past, they have also modeled auction items, escorted honorees and presented awards/prizes.

Anna Claire will cheer on her team with the first regular season game on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 12 noon CDT against the Arizona Cardinals. She will also be attending LSU.

Currently, as Miss Louisiana Volunteer 2025, Anna Claire is competing for the title of Miss Volunteer America in a national pageant which will culminate in the crowning of the winner on Saturday, June 21 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, TN.

Anna has been in Jackson most of the week, competing in preliminary competitions, such as evening gown, fitness & wellness, talent and interviews. Finalists will be announced Saturday evening. The winner will earn the title of Miss Volunteer America 2026 and a $50,000 scholarship.

Tonight the coeds will compete in talent competition. Anna Claire will perform a dance routine.

A former Miss Minden competing in the Miss America Pageant System, Anna Claire has been in pageants since she was 12 years old, winning her first title when she was 13. She competed in the Miss Louisiana Pageant three times, making the Top 5 each time.

Anna Claire has plenty of support in Jackson. Her parents, three siblings, and two princesses will make sure they are heard when she is introduced. According to her mom, Lela Lemoine, support is one thing that her daughter appreciates about Minden and the people here.

“She is so appreciative of the support she has received from the people of Minden and the City of Minden,” Lela said. Anna Claire also sends thanks to her dress sponsors and to her two princesses, Courtney Meek Alston and Emily Grace Yount.
