Have you ever thought about how specialized some chemicals can be?  We sell a big variety of chemicals in our store.  Some will control insects and others weeds.  Think of the science that it took to make each one.

 

For instance, you come to Minden Farm and Garden and ask for assistance with killing weeds in the yard.  My first question to you is what kind of grass do you have that the weeds are in.  If it is Bermuda it’s one thing and if it is centipede or St. Augustine it’s another.  What is the weed that you want to control?  Let’s don’t forget the size of your yard.  Some scientist has researched and tested all of these chemicals over and over to get the results that you need to have to get the job done.  Then it is my turn to tell you which chemical you need to use and how to use it.

 

The same goes for insecticides.  Do you want to kill spiders, fleas, or fire ants?  What about flies on your animals?  Let’s not forget the feed that your pets and livestock eat.  This is where shopping at your small local stores pay off.  We have to go through all of our products and learn when, how, where, and how much to use them.  Our venders send us the materials that we need to be able to show our customers how, when, and how much to use use for all of your products.  Besides that, we know who to call when we don’t know the answer.  You won’t get this when you shop at the discount stores and the box stores.  Give the locals a chance when you need help.
