The Minden Foundation made the announcement earlier this month that registration is officially open for the 2025 Shoot Out, set for Saturday, October 18, 2025 at I-20 Exit 55 Ada Taylor.
This one-day event promises great competition, fellowship, and fun with only 40 team spots available – 20 in the morning flight and 20 in the afternoon.
Schedule of Events:
8 a.m. – Registration & sign-in for morning shooters
9 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Morning flight (20 teams)
12 p.m. – Registration for afternoon shooters
1 – 5 p.m. – Afternoon flight (20 teams)
Format:
3-person teams
Each shooter: 50 rounds across 5 stations
Teams rotate stations to complete the course
New teams advance once a station clears
Shells not included, but available for purchase onsite
Participants and spectators will have plenty of other activities to enjoy during the event including food, cold drinks, including adult beverages (after you’re done shooting, of course), football playing on the big screen, cornhole games and more.
And that’s not all—this year’s ‘Shoot Out’ features an exciting raffle prize: a 4×6 Antler Shed Deer Blind, generously sponsored by Rocking Rooster Veterinary Services. Tickets are just $20 each, giving participants a chance to take home the perfect addition to the hunting season.
