Two main parking lots between Main and Broadway in Minden are receiving much-needed facelifts this week.

Minden Mayor Nick Cox said the lots were in very bad shape.

“There were so many potholes in one of them, you could twist an ankle,” he said.

Parking places will be striped, said Cox, and he feels like it will add more spaces to both lots.
