Local businesses and organizations are sought to help Webster Parish Libraries bring the magic of Hogwarts to life by hosting a trunk for the annual Trunk or Treat. Space is limited; registration deadline is October 7.
The second Hogwarts event will be held from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 23 (rain date: October 27) at the Minden location. Springhill Branch will host from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, October 30 (rain date: October 31).
Kids and families: Dust off your cloaks and polish your wands—Webster Parish Libraries’ most magical night of the year is back, and it’s more enchanting than ever!
Step across the threshold and into a fully re-imagined Hogwarts-and-Hogsmeade-inspired world. Explore new rooms, uncover hidden details, and discover new magic waiting around every corner.

Trunk or Treat Lane – Wander through rows of elaborately decorated trunks brought to life by local businesses and organizations. From spooky castles to enchanted forests and whimsical wizard hideaways, each stop offers candy, charm, and a story all its own. Don’t forget your candy bags—there’s a treasure trove of sweets and surprises waiting for you!
The Library Attraction House: Part II – The Adventure Continues
Step inside an immersive, Hogwarts-inspired experience for all ages. Building on last year’s spellbinding story, this year’s journey offers even more whimsical details, magical mischief, and interactive surprises around every corner.
New Safety & Event Enhancements-
This year’s Minden Trunk or Treat will feature updates designed to improve safety and make the event even more enjoyable for everyone. Pedestrian barriers will help form clearly defined trunk lines, making it easier for families to navigate and keeping the flow of traffic smooth. These and other enhancements are part of our ongoing effort to ensure a safe, fun, and well-organized evening.
