MINDEN, LA — The City of Minden and Minden Main Street District are pleased to announce that the Minden Farmers Market will now be held in the Minden Main Street Historic District, located in the charming alley next to Brick Street Coffee.
The move brings the market to the heart of downtown, where visitors can enjoy a more walkable, welcoming atmosphere surrounded by local shops, eateries, and the historic character that makes Minden unique.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Farmers Market downtown where it belongs,” said Derek Moore, Committee Chairman. “This location allows us to highlight our local farmers, crafters, and makers while encouraging residents to explore and support our Main Street businesses.”
The Minden Farmers Market will feature a variety of local produce, handmade goods, and artisan products, all presented in a fresh, organic-style setting. Vendors are required to maintain appealing displays and use white tents for a cohesive look that complements the historic district’s charm.
Vendor participation costs $25 per event, and consistency throughout the season is encouraged to help the market thrive.
