The Springhill North Webster Chamber of Commerce and Springhill Main Street joined forces Saturday to launch the Christmas season with a day full of festive fun in downtown Springhill.
The celebration began with the Cocoa Crawl, inviting visitors to savor delicious hot cocoa from local shops while exploring the historic district. Shoppers could also visit the Mistletoe Market at the South Main Mall, featuring unique crafts and gifts from locals, perfect for holiday shopping while supporting small businesses.
Children had the chance to share their Christmas wishes with Santa, adding to the excitement of the day. As evening fell, the Springhill Christmas Parade lit up Main Street with beautifully decorated floats, filling the town with holiday cheer.
The Grand Marshals of the 2025 parade were Mr. and Mrs. Springhill Christmas, Mayor Ray and Kay Huddleston. Their hard work and dedication to making Springhill shine at Christmas made them the perfect choice to lead the parade. From countless fundraisers through the Christmas Lights Committee to spearheading endless days of decorating the city, the Huddlestons have truly transformed Springhill into a small town Christmas extravaganza.
The parade winners were recently announced:
– 1st Place: Carter Credit Union for their Polar Express Magic Train
– 2nd Place: EF Exchange Students for The Magic of Christmas is WORLDWIDE
– 3rd Place: WHO of North Webster for their Magical Snowman Slide
– Honorable Mention: North Webster Community Church for highlighting The Miracle Behind the Magic
The festivities continued at the park, where families enjoyed carriage rides, face painting, jump houses, food trucks, and more. The event provided a perfect opportunity for the community to come together, create memories, and celebrate the joy and spirit of the season.
