Julia Cox spotlighted for Miss Minden Teen

As the Miss Minden Teen Spotlight Series continues, the Young Women’s Service Club (YWSC) of Minden is proud to introduce another contestant whose passion for the arts and commitment to uplifting others define her platform and purpose. With each feature, the series highlights the diverse talents and service initiatives represented in this year’s pageant.

Julia is a 17-year-old junior at Mangham High School whose love for dance has been a constant part of her life for the past 15 years. Through movement and expression, she has learned discipline, creativity and confidence – lessons she carries beyond the studio and into her community.

Her Community Service Initiative, “Embracing Uniqueness,” focuses on encouraging people of all ages to celebrate what makes them different. Julia believes that confidence grows when individuals learn to appreciate their own strengths, quirks and individuality rather than comparing themselves to others.

By combining her artistic background with a message of self-acceptance, Julia hopes to inspire others to step fully into who they are and to recognize that uniqueness is something to be celebrated, not hidden.

She is honored to represent her school and community as a Miss Minden Teen contestant and looks forward to sharing her passion and platform on the Miss Minden stage.
