Jazzie Jackson is competing in Saturday’s annual Miss Minden Pageant at Minden High School Auditorium.
Jazzie was born in Shreveport, raised in Dallas and “found her way” back to her roots in Louisiana.
She is a second-year law student at LSU Law Center. Driven by her upbringing, Jazzie has a lifelong commitment to service, leadership and social justice.
“I’m a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I continued my passion for advocacy and leadership after graduating high school,” Jazzie said. “I aspire to become a role model who uses the law to uplift others and make a meaningful impact in my community.”
The Miss Minden Pageant, sponsored by Young Women’s Service Club, begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, with other pageants throughout the day.
