Local man arrested on warrants; woman charged as accessory

A Minden man wanted on multiple warrants and the woman who  allegedly attempted to hide him are both in custody following their arrest Tuesday at a local residence.

Minden Chief of Police Jared McIver said 32-year-old Randavious L. Mosley and 21-year-old Carlee Joe Nation are currently behind bars after officers served warrants just before 1 p.m at a Loop Rd. residence.

Mosley was charged on warrants for aggravated second degree battery, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, simple battery and simple criminal damage to property. He reportedly is being held at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center on a $71,000 bond.

Nation is reportedly being held in the parish jail charged with accessory after the fact (harboring a fugitive). She is being held under a $5,000 bond.

McIver said officers had gone to the Loop Rd. residence in January seeking Mosley. At that time, officers reportedly informed Nation of the outstanding warrants. During questioning, Nation allegedly acknowledged knowing Mosley, and reportedly referred to him by his street name.

During their January interviews, Nation was reminded she was required to contact police if Mosley returned to the residence. She reportedly was advised that failure to do so could result in her arrest for harboring a fugitive.

When officers returned to the residence Tuesday, Nation reportedly told officers Mosley was not inside. Officers noted Nation attempted to act as if she did not know Mosley. During a search of the residence, Mosley reportedly was found hiding behind a door.

Both Mosley and Nation reportedly were taken into custody without incident.
