SPRINGHILL, La. — The Springhill North Webster Chamber of Commerce celebrated local leadership, service and business excellence during its 2026 annual banquet earlier this month, recognizing individuals and organizations whose contributions continue to shape the community.

Held under a patriotic theme highlighting civic pride, the event brought together business leaders, residents and community partners for an evening focused on honoring those who strengthen North Webster through service and innovation.

Top honors included the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to David and Marla Smith for their longstanding impact on the community. LaMa Animal Rescue received the Civic Award for its commitment to animal welfare, while Pam Jenkins was named Ambassador of the Year.

Hayden Timmons earned Businessman of the Year, and Nicole Thebeau was recognized as Businesswoman of the Year. EI Williams was named Business of the Year.

Each recipient reflects what chamber leaders described as the dedication and leadership driving Springhill’s continued growth.

The event was supported by Springhill Medical Center as presenting sponsor, Bonvenu Bank as hospitality sponsor, Barksdale Federal Credit Union as photography sponsor and Southern Wealth Management as awards  sponsor..

Beyond the awards, the banquet also highlighted a year of progress for the chamber, including business growth, expanded networking opportunities and strengthened community partnerships.

Chamber leadership said the organization remains focused on fostering economic development and building connections across North Webster.

“As we celebrate this year’s accomplishments, we are also looking ahead with excitement and optimism,” chamber leaders said in a statement. “We remain committed to supporting local businesses and building a vibrant future for our community.”
