If you want your pet to be Minden’s next four-legged Mayor, today (Friday) is your nomination deadline.

“We currently have 20 pets in the running for Pet Mayor,” said Ashlee Drake. “The deadline for both sponsorships and pet registration is May 8.”

Voting will begin on May 15, she added.
