
Springhill Medical Center has named Robert Peltzer as its new Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 26 years of healthcare leadership experience to the organization.
Peltzer most recently served as Chief Administrative Officer for DeSoto Regional Health System, where he led strategic planning and operational improvements. His career also includes executive leadership roles within the United States Air Force, overseeing large-scale medical operations, budgets exceeding $500 million, and teams of more than 2,200 personnel.
Peltzer holds advanced degrees in Business Administration and Military Operational Art & Science and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has also received multiple honors throughout his healthcare career, including Young Healthcare Administrator of the Year and Senior Healthcare Administrator of the Year.
