Weather Summary, forecast of Bertha

By Jerry Strahan

We could have tropical depression number 2 by Friday, with tropical storm Bertha. Winds of 60 mph are expected and very heavy rain. Some models put the tropical storm near the coast of Louisiana with rain fall 125 miles inland. If we in Webster Parish get rain or winds, I will definitely let y’all know. Right now is the hardest time to forecast any tropical system brewing in the gulf.

Below are screenshots of the flash flood warning in Webster Parish.

Also, included are pictures of the tropical depression. These pictures will show the satellite, expected path, winds and rain expected.

A look back at our weather.
