Mission statement  was LOVE for the weekend’s Summer Beach Bash Extravaganza.

The skies were blue and the temperature was 90F – perfect for Saturday’s event. People were dressed up for the occasion. 

They were dressed up like a watermelon, bright clothes and dresses along with sunglasses and warm colors and smiles. 

The parade started at Piggly Wiggly parking lot, crossed Highway 371 and into the surrounding neighborhood. 

Organizers were Shanna Curry, Franchester Gibson, Latonya Frazier, Robinette,Thomas, D Nicole Frazier, and Rev. Dr Versie Hudson, Motorcycle Club, The Buffalo Soldiers.

Everyone participating was safe, thanks to Springhill Police Department and Webster Parish Sheriff’s Department deputies who kept the parade safe by blocking Highway 371 and local streets.
