Springhill, Cullen and Shongaloo fire departments responded to a house fire at the 100 block of forest street in Springhill around 9 p.m. Sunday.

First unit on scene stated that they had fully involved wood frame structure, fully involved in fire. 

Soon after, Springhill Fire chief, Michael Morse requested an ambulance to evaluate a child. Pafford was dispatched.

Around 45 minutes into the fire, the fire departments had most of the fire completely knocked down. 

Fire Chief Michael Morse, called the the Louisiana state fire Marshall’s department and cause of fire is still under investigation.
