Springhill fire department responded to a report of a woods fire around noon Friday, August 21. Upon arrival they found a large debris pile. 

One witness said she called 911 because the fire was headed toward her home and another.

She also reported someone was cleaning out a house, piled the debris, lit it on fire and left the fire unattended.
