The last measurable rain was August 8. 
Springhill had . 03 100s of an inch 

Minden August 8 had a trace of rain.

Rain recorded are for the previous 24 hours ending at 7 a.m.
Hopefully those measurements will change this coming week. 
We have a chance of thunderstorms each day. 
Highs will be in the upper 90s and lows in the upper 70s to near 80F  then at the end of the week, we could see a nice cool down with lows in the upper 60s..

As of this writing August 23 we are still in a moderate drought and we are in a moderate risk of wildland fires.
