Football contest begins next week!

TUESDAY is kickoff day for the 2026 Football Pick’em contest.

This week, regular high school games begin, and we will run the contest Tuesday through Friday (except weeks where there are Thursday games).

Game stories will run Mondays, the new contest will publish Tuesdays and winner of the previous week’s contest will run Wednesdays.

Every year, WPJ’s contest is played by more and more subscribers who can’t wait to win $100, which we award every week.

Our four parish high school teams and games are in the contest, as well as the most popular college and pro teams.
