Saturday’s Cub Club fundraising event will go a long way toward starting a group that will teach children ages 0-12 how to become involved in age-appropriate service projects while learning the value of helping others.

Sponsored by the Minden Evening Lions Club, the event, which included face painting, games and a dunking booth raised $1,120.
