Webster Parish Libraries is rolling out the red carpet for its 2026 Trunk-or-Treat celebrations, unveiling “Scene It!” as this year’s theme.

The movie-inspired events will transform the Minden and Springhill library branches into a collection of cinematic scenes featuring timeless classics, family favorites and thrilling adventures. As families travel from trunk to trunk collecting treats, they will have the opportunity to step into different movie worlds and become part of the show.

“Every scene has a story, every trunk holds a surprise, and every guest becomes part of the show,” organizers shared in the announcement.

The Minden Library Branch will host its Trunk-or-Treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20. In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will be rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22.

The Springhill Library Branch event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, with a rain date scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30.

Families are encouraged to wear costumes and prepare for a “blockbuster Halloween experience” filled with treats, creativity and community fun.

Webster Parish organizations and businesses are also invited to participate by decorating a trunk and bringing their favorite movie scene to life.
