The first week of Webster Parish Journal’s Pick’em contest has ended, and it’s time to start on Week 2, beginning today.

In Week 1, of 157 submissions, 20 Pick’em players had 100 percent correct picks. However, one person pulled it out with the tiebreaker. As soon as that person has been contacted, we will let you know their identity and take a photo of them receiving $100 from Title Sponsor Under Dawgs.

Our four parish high school teams are featured in the contest every week, as well as some college and pro teams and two tie breakers.

Each week, the contest closes at 6 p.m. before Friday’s high school games, unless there is a Thursday game, then it closes at 6 p.m. that day.

Remember, you must 18 or older to play.
