Moose, a neutered male is two-years-old. He is a hound mix that weighs between 40 and 50 pounds.

Available for adoption through LaMa Animal Rescue & Support Services in Sarepta.

Moose was abandoned at the groomer back in February 2026, and he’s been at our rescue ever since! He is friendly, social, and outgoing. 

From dog walker John: “Moose has a great disposition and will make a great pet. He is active & independent. He loved our outing.”

Moose is heartworm negative, neutered, and up-to-date on all vaccines & flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. This healthy & social fella is ready for a home of his own!

To schedule a meet-and-greet, you must fill out an application first. 

We do not cat test at our shelter. All dogs are dog-friendly unless otherwise noted. Please only commit to adoption if you are willing to give the dog time to adjust to a home life – some dogs have been in our shelter for over a year.
