
North Webster will host its homecoming court coronation Friday night.
The Journal partnered with the local school to bring our readers the bios of each member of the 2021-2022 North Webster High School Homecoming Court.
Queen
Meagan Sydney Maxwell holds the title of NWHS Homecoming Queen. Meagan is the daughter of Allison Maxwell and Trent Maxwell. She is a Knights cheerleader, member of the softball and cross country team. Meagan is also a member of the yearbook staff, Christian Youth Club, Beta Club and FBLA. She is a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student. After High School, Meagan plans to attend Louisiana Tech University to become a physical therapist.
Football Sweetheart
Miss Peyton Gabrielle Ware is the NWHS Football Sweetheart. She is the daughter of John and Alicia Ware. She enjoys cheering for the knights, pole vaulting, and spending money. Peyten is cheer captain for the Knights. She is a member of the track team where she is the reigning state runner-up in class 3A Pole vault. After high school, she plans to attend college to become an elementary teacher while continuing her pole vault career.
Band Sweetheart
Me’Yuanna Bradford is the 2021 Band Sweetheart. Me’Yuanna is the daughter of Amber Kimble and Connie Bradford. She serves as the Majorette Captain for the Band of Armour Auxiliary. She is a 4 year member of the Auxiliary and an honor roll student. After high school, she plans on continuing to be a majorette. She wishes to follow in her mom’s footsteps to earn her BSN.
Senior Maids
Katie Ann Jennings is representing her senior class as a maid. Katie is the daughter of Tony and Annaleah Jennings. She is a 4 year member and captain of the NWHS Knightline. Katie is also treasurer of the Student Council and National Honors Society Vice President. Throughout high school, she has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. After high school, Katie plans to attend the University of Louisiana at Monroe and earn a degree in psychology.
Our next senior maid is Miss Haley Alexandra Roath. Haley is the daughter of Kristin Martin and Tim Roath. She is an NWHS cheerleader. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, spending time with her boyfriend, Luke, and playing with Deetz and Nyla. After high school, she plans to attend Louisiana Tech University and major in Animal Science with hopes of becoming a veterinarian.
Our final senior maid is Miss Raynesha Antwynette Standokes. Raynesha is the daughter of Willie and Coesha Standokes. She is a 3 year member of the NWHS Knightline. Raynesha is also a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. Her freshman and sophomore year, she was a homecoming maid. She is an honor roll student and a 3 year member of the Delta Gems. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, talking on the phone, doing makeup, traveling, watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play football, hanging with her BUB Sisters, chilling with her dog, Champ, and spending time with family and friends. After High School, she plans to attend Southern University in Baton Rouge to become a sonographer and professional makeup artist.
Junior Maids
Presenting Junior maid, Miss Kayman Faith Patterson. Kayman is the daughter of Marty and Angie Patterson. Kayman enjoys fishing for the NWHS Knights fishing team, hanging out with friends, and singing in the Youth Choir at Central Baptist Church. Kayman is also a member of the Art Club, Christian Youth Club, and Beta Club. Kayman has maintained the A and B honor roll. After high school, Kayman plans to attend University of Louisiana at Monroe and eventually get her doctorate degree to become a pediatric optometrist.

Landry Grace Thompson is our final Junior Maid. Landry is the daughter of Hugh and Cheryl Thompson. Landry is a NWHS Cheerleader and a member of the Knights Cross Country and Tennis Teams. She is a member of the Christian Youth Club and Beta Club. Throughout high school, Landry has maintained the A honor roll. She was also awarded “Most Likely to Brighten Your Day” by her classmates. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Sophomore Maids
Our First Sophomore Maid is Mikiyah Patrice Bell. Mikiyah is the daughter of Courtnie Jenkins-Bell. Mikiyah is an NWHS Cheerleader. She is also a member of the Christian Youth Club and a Student Council Representative. Mikiyah is also an AKA pearl. She enjoys cheering for the Knights, reading, mud riding, spending time with family and friends, scrolling tiktok, and praise dancing.
Niyana Symone Cooper is our next sophomore maid. Niyana is the daughter of Natasha Crawford and the late Ricardo Cooper. She is a member of the Band of Armour Auxiliary. Niyana is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and a Delta Gem. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, doing hair, getting pampered and singing in the choir at Sweet Home Baptist Church.
Gabriella Bree Lyons is our final Sophomore maid. Bree is the daughter of Gabe and Laura Lyons. She is a member of the NWHS Knightline, Basketball Team, and Track Team. She also enjoys lifter weights and working out. Throughout high school, she has maintained the Principal’s List.
Freshman Maids
Emoni Glover is the daughter of Rickie Glover and Lonnesha Ransom. Emoni is a member of the NWHS Knightline. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, doing makeup, hanging out with her friends and spending time with family. Last year, she maintained the principals list all year.
Naja Willis is the daughter of Angela Williams. She is a member of the NWHS Lady Royales, Basketball team and Track Team. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, cooking, driving, sleeping and hanging out with friends. Naja is an honor roll student and earned many awards in track at NWJH. Someday, Naja hopes to continue her track career into the collegiate as well as professional level.
Nyla Cameron Willis is the daughter of Angela Williams. Nyla is a member of the NWHS Lady Royales, Basketball team, and track team. She is also a member of the Beta Club. Nyla is an honor roll student. In junior high, she earned many awards for throwing the javelin and the 1600 m run in track. Some day, Nyla hopes to become a Lawyer.
