An argument over a teenager’s cell phone led to abuse charges of a south Webster Parish man Friday.

Bobby Joseph Wiltcher, 36, of the 200 block of Fuller St., Doyline, was arrested by Major Robert Hayden Jr. with the Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office and charged with domestic abuse battery.

According to Hayden’s report, the victim, Wiltcher’s wife, told him the two argued about their 13-year-old son’s cell phone.

“She said during the argument, Wiltcher started putting his hands on her and pushing,” Hayden said. “Then he bit her left arm. She showed me the marks that are consistent with bites.”

The complainant reportedly wanted to pursue charges. Wiltcher has three prior domestic abuse charges on record. The first in 2013, second in 2015 and third in 2020.

“During this argument, according to the complainant, Wiltcher also pushed and grabbed their son when he tried to intervene and get them to stop,” Hayden said.
