A North Webster Parish woman has been arrested by Springhill Police.

Angella Willis, 40, of the 400 block of 4th St., SE, Springhill, is charged with two counts of second degree battery.

According to reports, two Springhill police officers were dispatched to a fight with injuries at another residence on 4th St., SE.

“Upon arrival, it was determined that Angella Willis had been at her neighbor’s and got into a verbal altercation,” said Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd. “She left the area of the altercation and returned to her residence, during which time she found a box cutter and went back to the other residence to cut two female victims.”

The first female victim reportedly sustained great bodily injury from a severe laceration to the nose and both hands. Lynd said she required multiple stitches for the hand injuries.

“She was later transported to Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport to receive reconstructive surgery on her nose,” the chief said. “The second female victim sustained a severe laceration to her right inner thigh. It was a clean cut down to the muscle area, requiring numerous stitches.”

Willis was transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
