With the recent retirement of an employee in the Light and Water Department, the City of Minden is making some changes to the hours of operation.
“We are working on a 50 percent budget in all departments,” said Minden Mayor Terry Gardner. “Until we pass a budget we have chosen not to replace this position to conserve on payroll.”
New hours begin Monday October 25. They are 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the drive through window open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the same days.
