The Town of Sibley will be celebrating Christmas in a bang-up way, beginning with a parade and ending with fireworks Saturday, December 18.

Sibley Mayor Jimmy Williams said the parade begins at 4 p.m., followed by the fireworks display at 6 p.m.

“Santa will be at Town Hall at 6 o’clock,” Williams said.

The parade route will begin at Town Hall, travel down 2nd Street to Natchitoches Street then to Tharpe Lane. It will take a left on SE 5th and loop around Tacoma Trail before making its way back to Town Hall.

“Brent Hunt will be taking care of the fireworks again this year,” Williams said. “He always does a great job.”
