Although some local Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebrations have been postponed due to COVID, there are still many ways to pay tribute in a virtual way.

“We are hoping the Minden community will join us for this,” Michael Walker, one of the event coordinators said. “We had so many join us the first time, which was last year.”

This year marks the 35th Annual MLK Celebration. The theme is “The Dream 2022: Stop the Violence – Save Our Youth and Save Our Community.”
