Guest speaker for Thursday’s Lions Club meeting is Hayden Slack. Hayden serves as the Northwest Louisiana Area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has served on staff with FCA for nine years. Hayden is a graduate of La. Tech University, where he played football and graduated with a biomedical engineering degree in 2013. During college, he was called into the ministry and completed his Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Theological Seminary in 2017.

The Minden Lions Club meets Thursdays at noon at the American Legion Memorial Home, located at 119 Pine St. in Minden.
