Jones is Football Contest Week One winner

The first week of the Webster Parish Journal’s High School Pick’em contest is over, and our winner is Scott Jones of Sibley. He had all 10 games correct, as did one other entrant. Jones won with the tie breaker.

Jones wins $100 from Under Dawgs and the Webster Parish Journal, a $50-gas card from Car Giant and a cap from Yocom Law Firm and Minden Athletic.

Our “celebrity” pickers for the first week did not do quite as well as our top winner.
