Only a select few of the City of Minden districts chose to host National Night Out parties tonight.
In District A, St. Rest Baptist Church, 611 East Union Street, will have a party themed “This Church Loves & Supports Christ and Community” between 5 and 8 p.m. behind the annex building, while Kay and Jerald McGuire are hosting one at their home at 362 Carey Lane between 6 and 8 p.m.
Greater Blessing Church of God in Christ, 409 Sibley Road, will host a “Love Thy Neighbor” party from 6 until 8 p.m. in District B.
Districts C, D and E have no parties scheduled with city hall.
The Town of Sibley will be providing free food, drinks and entertainment to residents at Town Hall, beginning at 6 p.m.
