Chamber, others sponsor job fair

Greater Minden Chamber is partnering with Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College, City of Minden and Louisiana Workforce Commission to help people find jobs.

Job Fair and Career Expo 2022 will pair employers with potential employees from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, October 20 at NLTCC, 9500 Industrial Drive.

“We have received confirmation from numerous employers that they will be attending,” said Chamber CEO Stephanie Barnett. “Now we just need to get the public there.”

“We still have more employers being added daily,” Barnette said. “We’re encouraging job seekers to come dressed to impress, as some companies will be doing interviews on the spot.”
