Lakeside blows out Logansport

Lakeside Warriors sailed to an easy victory over Logansport Tigers 11-1 Wednesday.

The Warriors got things moving in the first inning, when Bradley Dick singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

They notched five runs in the second inning.  The rally was led by a single by Cooper Chase and a sac fly by Cade Boley.

Chase earned the win for Lakeside. The fireballer allowed four hits and one run over three innings, striking out three.  Hunter Sutton threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Sutton recorded the last six outs to earn the save.

Levi Forest took the loss for Logansport Tigers. The pitcher went two innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out three and walking one.

Trenton Rachall started the game for Logansport Tigers. Rachall went two innings, allowing eight runs on five hits

The Warriors tallied 10 hits.  CJ Watts, Jon Jon Dick, Chase and Dick all managed multiple hits for Lakeside.  Dick, Chase, Dick and Watts each managed two hits. The Warriors tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Eli Musgraves led the way with three.  Lakeside  Warriors was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Watts made the most plays with  seven.
