Minden Crimson Tide claims lead in seventh inning to defeat Taylor

Minden Crimson Tide snatched the lead late in the game in a 15-6 victory over Taylor, Ark. Tuesday. The game was tied at six with the Tide batting in the top of the seventh when Brandon Winston drew a walk, scoring one run.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. Minden collected nine hits and Taylor had 11.

Taylor captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored two runs for the Arkansas team.

Zander Rowell was credited with the victory for the Tide. The lefthander went four innings, allowing no runs on four hits, striking out one and walking one.

Smith took the loss for Taylor. The bulldog allowed five runs on one hit.

Woodall started the game for Taylor. The hurler allowed three hits and three runs over two innings, striking out two Jaxon Smith started the game for Minden Crimson Tide . The pitcher allowed seven hits and six runs over three innings, striking out two and walking zero

Taylor socked two home runs on the day. Smith had a dinger in the first inning. Smith went yard in the third inning.

The Crimson Tide racked up nine hits on the day. Landyn Huddleston, Hudson Brown and Price Miller each collected multiple hits. Miller, Brown and Huddleston each collected two hits to lead the Tide .

Smith went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Taylor in hits.
