Glenbrook Lady Apaches’s two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as the Apaches defeated Haynesville 16-0  Tuesday. Gabi Brown induced a groundout from K Cornish to get the last out of the game.

 

Vivian Still led Glenbrook to victory by driving in six runs.  Still went 2-for-3 at the plate. She drove in runs on a home run in the third and a triple in the fourth.

 

Glenbrook got things moving in the first inning.  Sarah Margaret Mosley drove in one when Mosley doubled.

 

The Lady Apaches notched six runs in the third inning.  The rally was led by a walk by Hadley Haynes, a home run by Still, and  by Colby Hollis.

 

Rebecca Mosley earned the victory in the circle for Glenbrook. Mosley allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out three.  Brown threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

 

Wesley Johnston took the loss for Haynesville. The bulldog lasted two innings, allowing two hits and six runs while striking out two.

 

Still had a long ball in the third inning.

 

Glenbrook tallied seven hits in the game.  Still and Mosley all managed multiple hits.  Mosley and Still each managed two hits to lead.  The Lady Apaches was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Still had the most chances in the field with seven.
