
North Webster Knights sailed to an easy victory over Bastrop 15-2 Tuesday.
The Knights fired up the offense in the first inning when Ethyn Radar singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
North Webster scored six runs in the third inning. The rally was led by doubles by Kyle Dinkins and Collin McKenzie, a walk by Cooper Sanders and a single by Sawyer Wages.
Radar got the win for North Webster. The righty lasted three innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out three. Judd Wesson and Jace Wesson entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Christian Winler took the loss for Bastrop.The bulldog allowed three hits and five runs over one and one-third innings.
Adameyon Moore started the game, allowing five hits and 10 runs over two and two-thirds innings.
Wages led the Knights with two hits in four at bats. He led the team with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 16 stolen bases. North Webster didn’t commit a single error in the field. Dakota Davison had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
