PFC Phillip Murry Myles was born in Minden, Louisiana on 24 Nov 1946, USA. His parents are not listed in Find a Grave. He was in the United States Army and attained the rank of E3. He was a Private First Class and an Infantryman.
His unit was C CO, 2ND BN, 12TH CAVALRY, 1ST CAV DIV, USARV. He tragically started his tour on April 19, 1967 and was Killed in Action on July 27, 1967, 3 months later. He was 20 years old at the time of his death. He died on Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam. He was a ground casualty and died from hostile fire.
His body was recovered and he waw buried at Moores Cemetery, Sailes, Bienville Parish, Louisiana.
He will be honored at our Armed Forced Day Celebration. Please remember his sacrifice and the freedom he gave us.
