Those with residences on Country Club Circle between Lewisville and Germantown roads, it’s your turn.

Starting this week, road work will begin on that section of road, according to Street Superintendent Terry Combs.

“All streets scheduled to be overlaid for 2023 have been overlaid except Country Club,” Combs told members of the Minden City Council during a public workshop Monday. “We’ve done everything as far as the striping, adjustments of manholes and water valves.”

Combs said Country Club is scheduled to start June 9, but it may be Monday June 12 before Benton & Brown Contractors begin actual work. Total bid for the entire project was $1.4 million.

The following is the list of streets already completed:

East St. – From Industrial Dr. to MLK Dr.

Carolina St. – From Sibley Rd to East St.

South Middle Landing Rd. – From Horton St. to Shreveport Rd.

North Middle Landing Rd. – From Shreveport Rd. to West St.

High St. – From Shreveport Rd. to Bayou Ave.

Bayou Ave. – From High St. to Pine St.

Davenport Dr./Erwin Thompson Dr. Intersection

Street crews are also mowing city and state rights-of-way as weather permits, and replacing old drainage.
