A North Webster Parish man is behind bars for multiple drug charges.

William Cade Stanley, 34, of Woods Lane, Springhill, was arrested by WPSO for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, speeding, switched plates and no insurance.

Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker said deputies Buster Flowers, Hanna Baker and Sgt. Josh McCormick took Stanley into custody after clocking him at 93 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone.

“The subject was traveling north on La. 159 at Newsome Cemetery Road and Kisatchie National Forest early Thursday,” Parker said. “He was pulled over at La. 159 and Garland Rd. A computer check showed Stanley had an active warrant for speeding.”

Parker said Stanley was operating a motorcycle with switched plates and did not have insurance on the vehicle.

He had approximately 3 ounces of rock crystal methamphetamine in his backpack.
