
The Warriors got things started in the second inning when they scored two runs on a stolen base Wednesday.
Lakesides put up four runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Peyton Gray and a double by Eli Campbell.
Jordan Isbell was on the mound for Lakeside. Isbell went four innings, allowing two runs on one hit and striking out five.
Minden’s starting pitcher lasted six and two-thirds innings, allowing ten hits and 11 runs while striking out two.
Lakeside totaled ten hits. Campbell, Matthew Aguilera, Brock Case, and Gray each racked up multiple hits for Lakeside Varsity Warriors. Gray, Case, Aguilera, and Campbell all had two hits to lead Lakeside Varsity Warriors. Case led Lakeside Varsity Warriors with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.
