Deborah (Debbie) Lynn Morgan left her earthly body to join her creator on July 4, 2023. She returned home surrounded by her loved ones. Debbie was born on December 29, 1956 and grew up on the Westbank side of New Orleans, Louisiana. She served in the United States Coast Guard, active and reserve, keeping in touch with her military friends over the years. She enjoyed hobbies such as gardening, crafting and genealogy.
Following Hurricane Katrina, Debbie relocated to Springhill, Louisiana where she spent the rest of her life. She was grateful to have her family close by. Deborah is preceded in death by her brother, Ernest (Bo) George Morgan Jr., her mother, Gladys Estelle Morgan, and her father, Ernest George Morgan Sr. Debbie is survived by her brothers: Randall Cockerham, Stephen Kaylor, and Charles Morgan as well as their families.
