What would our streets be like without traffic lights?  Everyone would probably be doing his or her own thing.  Thank God for the traffic lights!  

So, leading up to what I want to talk about in this article. 

The Traffic Lights are up for a reason! How many of us stop at the red light? Or stop sign? How many of us have kept going?  

We all should obey the law, such as traffic lights, they are up all over the world for a reason. For the safety of the people! 

Many people have had accidents, because they failed to stop at the red light or someone else failed to stop.  The red light means to stop completely.  

When we choose not to do what’s right, we don’t hurt just ourselves, but we can hurt others too!! 

The Spiritual Traffic light: 

~Red light represents Stop to a Sinful-lifestyle. 

~Yellow light represents Take Heed to God’s instructions.  

~Green light represents Go ahead and follow God’s way for our lives!! Jesus is always the right way. 

Many of us are running the red lights spiritually, because we will not obey God, we will not take time to read God’s word, we will not sit in the teaching ministries to learn of God and we will not turn from sinful lifestyles! 

We just want to do our own thing, no matter who it hurts! We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but when Jesus died on the cross, he set us free from  sin having control over us!  

We have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus.  Sin will take us where we don’t want to go and keep us longer than we want to stay!!  

We can’t use for an excuse ‘we are not perfect’ in order to keep living a sinful lifestyle.  We must repent and turn our hearts, minds and soul to Jesus, who can help us face the temptations that we go through daily!!! 

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
