A local pair is behind bars after entering a residence without the owner’s permission.

Alanna Nichole Stiles, 20, of the 100 block of NE 2 Ave., Sibley and Hayden Gregory Williams, 24, of the 100 block of Trails Road, Minden, were arrested by Webster Parish Sheriff’s deputies and charged with criminal trespass, theft and resisting an officer.

Williams has an additional charge of aggravated assault.

Sheriff Jason Parker said his deputies Sgt. Allen, Lt. Wimberly and Chief Deputy Hank Haynes were dispatched around 10 a.m. Wednesday when a Haynes Road property owner observed the pair entering the residence and stealing multiple items.

“When the homeowner attempted to stop Stiles and Williams, both subjects got into a Chevy pick-up truck and attempted to leave the residence,” Parker said. “While leaving, Williams, who was driving the truck, attempted to run over the female homeowner.”

Both subjects reportedly attempted to conceal themselves from law enforcement but were taken into custody.

“While in custody, Stiles struck her head on a patrol unit window multiple times,” said the sheriff. “A charge to Stiles for that was added once both were at BDCC (Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center).”
