LaTanya ”Tan”’Grigsby is a lifelong resident of Minden, La. She is a member of Mt. Zion C. M. E. Church. She taught in Webster Parish for 30 years before retiring.

She is a 1977 graduate of Minden High School and a 1982 graduate of Grambling State University. 

She is married to Andree Grigsby and they have two children: LaTanjorea Burley Smith and John-Joseph Grigsby. 

She is seeking the office for Webster Parish Police Jury District 10 in the 2023 election.
