If the political realm holds your interest, Minden Community House was the place to be last Thursday evening.

Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce hosted a Candidate Meet & Greet, with many local and state candidates “setting up shop” for the evening.

For the first hour (5 until 6 p.m.), candidates talked one-on-one with community members. At 6 p.m., each candidate was given a few minutes to introduce themselves to the group and discuss their platform.
